At Oakland Elementary, we strive to meet the academic, cultural, and social needs of our school's diverse community by providing an equitable, high-quality education, building meaningful relationships, and developing lifelong learners.
Focus: ON - Promoting Distraction-Free Learning Environments
Beginning for the 2025-2026 school year, HCS students in grades K-12 are not permitted to display or use a cell phone, smartwatch, or other electronic communication device on school property during the school day.
STEM for All
HCS is cultivating a dynamic learning environment that includes offering science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) educational opportunities across all grades.
Pre-K Registration
Henry County Schools' application window to enter the Pre-K Lottery for school year 2026-2027 will be open Jan. 26 - Feb. 6, 2026.
